1989   Research fellow at the National Resarch Council (CNR) of Italy. 
1991  Visiting Researcher at the Centre for Urban and Regional Studies of the University of Newcastle upon Tyne (UK).
1990-01  Assistant Teacher at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Naples.  
1994   Associate Researcher at the Land Planning and Management Institue (CNR).
1996   Permanent Researcher at the Land Planning and Management Institue (CNR).
1997  Assistant Teacher for the course of “Technological Innovation and Territorial Transformations” at the Faculty of Engineering of theUuniversity of Naples “Federico II”.  
1998-99 Professor (temp. app.) for the course of “Town Planning” at the Faculty of Engineering of Benevento.
2000-01  Professor (temp. app.) for the course of “Town Planning” at the Faculty of Engineering of Benevento.
